Youth Services

We’re here to support you through the struggles and help you get to where you want to be.

Our kaupapa is called Ihopūmanawa. It’s about becoming strong through the challenges you face – growing into someone who’s resilient, confident, and proud of who they are.

We back you to live a life that’s healthy, meaningful, and true to you.

Who is this service for?

Our Youth Service is all about supporting you to build a strong future, in a way that works for you. We work with rangatahi in Rotorua who:

  • Are not in school, work, or training
  • Get a Youth Payment
  • Get a Young Parent Payment

Our team can help you with:

  • Applying for payments
  • Finding the right course, job or training
  • Learning to budget
  • Getting your licence
  • Parenting support
  • Looking after your hauora

If you’re 16 or 17, you can’t live at home, and your parents can’t support you financially, you may be able to receive a Youth Payment.

We can help you apply for the Youth Payment which can help pay your living costs, we can also help with budgeting services, getting your licence, and taking care of your hauora so you can get back into school, training or work.
