ENHANCED SUPPORT PILOT WELL CHILD TAMARIKI ORA SERVICE (ESP WCTO)
FULL TIME (1.0 FTE)

Manaaki Ora – Tipu Ora have been awarded the opportunity to participate in a Ministry of Health funded pilot service for 3 years to provide enhanced support to young hapū māmā in the Rotorua area.

This role is central to the kaupapa of Manaaki Ora – Tipu Ora and the Well Child Tamariki Ora Enhanced Support Pilot (ESP WCTO) Service, it will support the transfer of knowledge to enhance and support the wellbeing of mama, Tamariki and whānau. This role is fundamental to the successful engagement of hapū māmā and whānau into the ESP WCTO Service and in the establishment and maintenance of the long term relationship between the whānau and the Multidisciplinary Team members (MDT). It will also ensure increased access to whānau focused support for young parents and their whānau and support to achieve their own goals and aspirations regarding their parenting.

The successful applicant will work alongside Lead Maternity Carers, the ESP WCTO Kaitiaki and Social Workers throughout all aspects of working with hapū mama, Tamariki and whānau.

If you have demonstrated experience in child health or primary health nursing and a passion for working with Tamariki and whānau, and making a difference in young mother’s lives, please apply.
