Whānau is the foundation for good health, so through support and education we aim to inspire and nurture whānau to grow and build resilience to give pēpi/baby the best start in life.
Family Start is a home-visiting service that offers early support for whānau who are expecting a new pēpi or who are already caring for a baby. Family Start is about looking at new ways to manage challenges by providing support and guidance from a child-centred, strengths-based and kaupapa Māori approach.
Hapū māmā or pēpi under 1 year of age who are experiencing challenges which make parenting harder.

Family Start is not an alternative to emergency or crisis help from other organisations, but may well work with other agencies and professionals to support you in caring for your child.

A space for parents and grandparents to connect, learn and grow. Based on kaupapa Māori values this marae-based programme supports whānau to raise vibrant mokopuna.
