Alcohol and Other Drugs Support

Alcohol and Other Drugs Support

Stuff going on?

Life can get pretty full-on — school, whānau, mates, figuring out where you fit. If alcohol, vaping, or drugs are part of the mix, we’re not here to judge. We’ll help you sort through it and figure out what’s next.

We connect with heaps of rangatahi every year, aged 12 to 24. You deserve support that’s real, respectful, and has your back.

No whakamā — reach out when you’re ready. We all need a hand sometimes, there’s no shame in that.

How to connect

You can reach out in a way that feels right for you:

Drop in: Visit us at 1272 Fenton Street, Rotorua, Monday to Friday, 9am to 4pm. You can come with an adult or by yourself.
Call us: Phone (07) 348 3572 to talk or book a time.
School clinics: We’re in most Rotorua high schools — you can kōrero with our youth worker anytime.
Referral: You might be referred by school, an agency, court, or another service. That’s all good — we’ll meet you where you’re at.

What we offer

We’re here to help you stay safe, stay connected, and build the skills to move forward:

  • Youth workers in high schools and alternative education spaces
  • One-on-one counselling for alcohol, drugs, vaping, or anything else on your mind
  • Cultural and Peer Support workers who understand your world
  • Home visits or office sessions — wherever feels comfortable
  • Support after a first offence
  • Help with getting your licence back after a drink driving charge
  • Extra support when things feel heavy

For Whānau

Parents, caregivers, and whānau – we’ve got you too. Supporting our rangatahi can be hard at times, and that’s okay. You don’t need all the answers. Reach out, we’ll be here with you.
