Wellbeing for all people of all ages

Our Kaupapa

At Manaaki Ora, we support whānau every step of the way, guided by Te Arawa tikanga and the vision of our tūpuna. Everything we do is grounded in values that uplift the wellbeing of all. Our mahi is about real support, for real people, every day.

You’re welcome to visit us kanohi ki te kanohi – no need to call first. Come in and have a kōrero.

We deliver NZQA-approved courses in Whānau Ora, supporting tauira across Aotearoa to uplift whānau and communities.

Whatever you or your whānau may be going through right now, know that you’re not alone. This is a safe space, and our team is ready to tautoko you with care and understanding.

Our Vision and Mission

He oranga, mai i te whitinga ki te tōnga o te rā
Wellbeing for all people of all ages

At the heart of everything we do is the belief that everyone deserves a life of wellbeing, from sunrise to sunset, from pēpi to kaumātua. Our vision is simple but powerful: a world where people of all generations thrive.

Kia whai, kia tipu, kia manaaki ora e
To seek, to grow, and to nurture wellbeing

We are committed to walking alongside individuals and whānau as they pursue wellness, growth, and connection. Through support, learning, and care, we help people find their path to a fuller life, grounded in manaaki, purpose, and resilience.

The difference was when I started taking in what my Counsellor was saying to me, and then I started changing my ways and doing better for myself.

Gave us enough information for us to decide the next step and help to identify the issues I have and to help set goals that will help me the future.

Made me think a lot more. Understanding the choices I need to make for myself and my babies.

A huge difference, I feel more able with the tools and skills to be a better parent for my child.

After receiving services, I came out of my depression. It fills me with positive attitude and I became more confident.

Yes, I feel the programme has been successful to help me quit drugs and alcohol. My main focus will be utilising the tools I’ve learnt out in the community.
